Forest Lawn Memorial Park (Glendale) & Shakey’s Pizza Fundraiser

Gather at church to carpool between 1 and 1:30pm

Go to Forest Lawn Memorial Park (1712 S. Glendale Ave, Glendale, CA 91205)

2:00pm  Showing of The Crucifixion         We will experience the Hall of Crucifixion-Resurrection, where The Crucifixion, the largest painting in the world, is displayed along with a short film explaining its creation and arrival in California.  FREE

2:30pm     Next door, we will visit the “David Bowie and the Mexican Masters” photography exhibit in the museum and walk the Esplanade (great views!).  FREE

3:30pm     We will go on a famous grave site hunt (prizes!), followed by a walk in a labyrinth.

4:30pm      Gather together and go to dinner at Shakey’s Pizza, 1133 S. Glendale Ave, Glendale, CA 91205.  BRING MONEY

This is a fundraiser: from 5-8pm  25% of sales from EPUMC diners will be donated to the church!

Carpools return to church for family pickup at 7pm
