Once again or church enters into a period of transition. Feels like it was only just yesterday we were welcoming Pastor Son Hye Kim into our fold. Although a short stay Pastor Kim’s presence has been strongly felt here at Echo Park UMC. Her commitment of love, fellowship and perseverance has left quite an impact on a congregation that in a lot of ways had been used to doing things a certain way for a long period of time. I am most certain that all of the congregation joins me in saying thank you to Pastor Kim for her devotion and relentless efforts in making this house of worship a better place. We wish her the best in her next appointment and we send her off knowing that she will always have a home and a place where she is cherished and loved.
