We gather as a church on the unceded ancestral lands of the Gabrielino-Tongva people. We respectfully acknowledge this people as the traditional caretakers of this land and honor their ongoing presence among us. We are grateful for the opportunity that we have been given to come together on this land for worship and fellowship.
Nos reunimos como una iglesia en las tierras ancestrales no cedidas del pueblo Gabrielino-Tongva. Reconocemos con respeto a este pueblo como los cuidadores tradicionales de esta tierra y honramos su presencia continúa entre nosotros. Estamos agradecidos por la oportunidad que se nos ha dado de reunirnos en esta tierra para la adoración y el compañerismo.
Then one of the visitors said, “I will surely return to you in due season, and your wife Sarah shall have a son.” And Sarah was listening at the tent entrance behind him. Now Abraham and Sarah were old, advanced in age; it had ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women. So Sarah laughed to herself, saying, “After I have grown old, and my husband is old, shall I be fruitful?”
