Reconocimiento de Tierras Indígenas
We gather as a church on the unceded ancestral lands of the Gabrielino-Tongva people. We respectfully acknowledge this people as the traditional caretakers of this land and honor their ongoing presence among us. We are grateful for the opportunity that we have been given to come together on this land for worship and fellowship.
Nos reunimos como una iglesia en las tierras ancestrales no cedidas del pueblo Gabrielino-Tongva. Reconocemos con respeto a este pueblo como los cuidadores tradicionales de esta tierra y honramos su presencia continúa entre nosotros. Estamos agradecidos por la oportunidad que se nos ha dado de reunirnos en esta tierra para la adoración y el compañerismo.
The 25th Anniversary of the Terrorist Attacks
of September 11, 2001
On September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks in New York City, Arlington, VA, and Shanksville, PA, killed 2,997 people, traumatized the United States and the world, and altered the course of human history. Today, we remember!

del 11 de Septiembre de 2001
El 11 de septiembre de 2001, los atentados terroristas en la ciudad de Nueva York, Arlington, VA, y Shanksville, PA, mataron a 2,997 personas, traumatizaron a los Estados Unidos y al mundo, y alteraron el curso de la historia humana. ¡Hoy recordamos!
God of love we place in your loving arms the thousands of innocent lives that were lost on that unforgettable morning of September 11, 2001. We also remember the courage of the countless women and men who put their lives at risk in order to rescue, alleviate and bring solace to the afflicted. Help us to continue to work for a world free from every form of hatred, violence and ignorance. May terrorism —in all its forms— disappear from the face of the earth. Amen.
Dios de amor, ponemos en tus brazos amorosos a las miles de vidas inocentes que se perdieron en aquella inolvidable mañana del 11 de septiembre de 2001. Recordamos también la valentía de las innumerables mujeres y hombres que arriesgaron sus vidas para rescatar, aliviar y brindar consuelo a los afligidos. Ayúdanos a seguir trabajando por un mundo libre de toda forma de odio, violencia e ignorancia. Que el terrorismo —en todas sus formas— desaparezca de la faz de la tierra. Amén.
